Gameplay .... Ekko W visual bug

I have probably encountered a bug last game. I was against Ekko (Academy skin) and I have noticed thay I can ´t see visuals of his W until very last moment . I could hear the sound of him casting it but I couldn´t see it until the end of the delay that is in the ability. You can imagine it was pretty hard to play against it
