[CLIENT] After I log in, I get a notification of a received gift and Client freezes

I haven't played for a couple of months and recently I installed all new updates and tried to launch the game.

When I log in, I get a notification that someone sent me a mystery gift or icon, but during the animation, everything freezes, the client freezes, doesn't respond to anything and I have to shut it down.

It happens over and over again everytime I try to open the client. I don't know whether is this issue is caused by the gift or something else... thoughts?
