Sheen Spellblade- Bug

So last time I played Ezreal, the spellblade passive on sheen was not activating when I used my q. It did however work correctly when I upgraded the item into tri-force. It did work when II used my e though. I saw another video on youtube with sheen not working properly for a player using graves.
