Unable to move or type while connected

So I had just loaded into a ranked match and when I went to open the shop and move out of the base I nothing was happening so I went to inform my side that my mouse wasn't working so I was going to re-log into league, but when I hit enter, nothing. Not even Alt+F4 was working while the League client was open, so I tabbed out, closed the client, reconnected and had the same issue.

Other players were also having this problem, and Riot has since found out that Discord Overlays were causing the problem. Try turning off your overlays.

You should also be careful about using any additional apps or modifications, as they're also prone to causing issues, and they're not something Riot supports. You can read more about Riot's stance regarding this here: Third Party Applications.
