Fullscreen mode bug

for me it only happens while using new cllient

for me happens all the time...just got a 5 game penalty after i tried to play a game considering the warrning about this problem in no longer in the client menu....

Yes, on a mac I could not alt-tab to exit out of the fullscreen. What I've tried :

1. I have seen suggestion for changing it in the options to be window only, but that setting does not show up when you click on the gear and try to change the option at least not on the mac client.
2. I also saw a suggestion to edit the setting from =0 to =1 in the Game.cfg config file but the path to that file was for PC. Does any one know what is the default path to the Game.cfg file on mac ? and if that work around would even work to get it to run in window mode by default. as opposed to full screen mode.

ps. new to LoL and this forum is there a way to pin this thread so that I will be ping'd when there is an answer?

Edit: So after some more digging I found a very helpful LoL support page for Mac users https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674#mq6 this has links to their hextech support tool which allows you to zip up your logs and send it to them along with the bug report. It also has instructions for work around number 2.

If your OS is version 10.9 or above, Go to Applications, use Control+Click on LoL and select Show All Package Contents, then Contents, then LOL/Config then you can use sublime or another text editor to change the window setting to =1 in the config file game.cfg this will make the game run by default in a window vs full screen

Edit: So after todays update jan 25th. Although the solution above works to put it into windowing mode. The window is not properly sized so you can still not get to other applications on your desktop. This makes it difficult to bring up discord so you can quickly talk to somebody. I tried the standard mac trick ctrl+cmd+f to see if that would work the way alt-tab works on the pc client. but no joy. It would be really great if (ctrl+cmd+f ) worked on the mac client to toggle in and out of full screen mode as that is what most mac users are going to be used to.
