League Client keeps freezing in champ select! The Frustration is real!!!!!

This has been happening for weeks and it is beyond frustrating. I'll be chilling in champ select and suddenly i see everyone else leave, meanwhile the timer for the person ahead of me is just chillin at 0. And the client will just sit there for minutes on end....frozen, everyone already gone and trying to get into a new game. All because i apparently didn't select my champ (So of course i get a time out) but in reality it never let me lock in. It happens to me once every 3 or 4 games. So you can see the issue here.

Riot, fix your client.

PS. Tried the 'stopping' of IP helper in services to no avail....
