I have had a problem/bug with playing Vi

I'm not sure if RIOT has fixed this bug since last patch, but last patch i was playing Vi jungle and there was a point in the game where my "Q" ability was broken. No matter how many times i hit "Q" nothing happened. So mid game I had to close my league and re-load back into the game I was in to fix my problem. The last time I had this problem was in an ascension game. I believe this problem has to do with Vi charging up her "Q" ability and getting silenced in mid charge. Bumping up because this is a really common bug that hasn't been fixed, as far as I know.

Dying, Silencing, Stunning, Rooting while charging up all have a chance to prevent Q from being used until a random amount of time has lapsed, or the client is restarted.

It seems that getting her Q interrupted while she's charging by dying, silencing, stunning, rooting, etc. doesn't always cause it to bug, though (after the first couple of times it happened, I've been keeping a close eye on her whenever I cast it - more than 50% of the time if I die/get CC'd mid-Q, I can still use it after). Seems to me it happens randomly and waiting it out doesn't work either.

What I do is put Q on smart-cast, smart-cast it, then take it off smart-cast. That helps every time it's happened to me, but it's annoying to have to recall in the middle of a fight just to fix the bug.
