Black text in Champion Select

When logging into champ select (draft, ranked solo, and ranked flex 5v5) the chat text is black (on a very dark background, making it unreadable), and the chat does not auto-scroll when the chat messages fill it. This seems to happen most of the time, but randomly it doesn't occur here and there (maybe 15% of the time at guess). Been happening since 7.12 release. Not tested outside summoner's rift. My current workaround is to highlight the text with my cursor (as if copying.pasting it) as that makes it readable. The screenshot is from logging on my roommates account on my computer to test the bug on another account. It persisted. I have repaired the client and it still occurred.
