Game freezes my whole computer during matches

Whenever I join a game, the game freezes my whole computer, resulting in me having to restart my whole PC. I no longer can play league because of this issue. Please helppp.

• I've tried redownloading the game.
• Crashes arn't caused by my PC, because when I play way more intensive games (in terms of gpu and cpu usage) it never freezes/crashes.
