Not sure what is going on, but every since the update, I (and several other players i've played with), have experianced huge lag spikes in mid game. I don't get this lag loading, early game, or late game...but it's really bad mid game.
My normal ping is 89-95, not great, but not lagging, and before the patch, I've had no issues.
Chance this is just a high rate of players trying out Tahm??

My ping remains fixed...but suddenly lags like hell for a second or two maybe...i lost like 5 matches in a row due to this hanging glitch...i.e. i was jungling with jax...when i tried to move from red to golem..jax moved through the wall...-.-...but apparently ping and fps remains same...and it all started right after patch 5.13 :(

Lost one game because of it, had it even with all my settings set on very low so I don't think it's a frame problem or a CPU/RAM problem but a latency problem

but apparently ping and fps remains same...and it all started right after patch 5.13 :(

same here. the lag is soo bad for me. i cant win any games or even really contribute. ive stuck to only aram games and it doesnt help in the slightest. the only way i win games is if the rest of my team is doing fantastic. i just spam abilities and hope i hit someone and maybe if by sheer luck i get a kill or two. mostly i just die cuz i cant see whats happening in game to avoid dying so quickly... this patch ruined any chances of me enjoying league atm or even playing it for that matter cuz the lag is so bad i cant even really play or enjoy it anymore...
Same problem, before the patch i was at 50-55 ping, now i'm at 66-3000. Riot please :(.
I've got the same problem. It can not be fixed by changing quality, peer-to-peer or v-sync..
Been receiving packet loss lately, started 1-2 days ago, and it occurs throughout whole game.
this had lead me to go on 5 lose streak my ping is always a 70-76 and when it came it my ping was 250-700 and i know my connection is still good because no game lags like that for me and i would get that "Attempting to Reconnect" bullshit my team thinks im dumb or something i even walked down mid with out me moving anything i couldn't control my champion it just walked into the tower and gave first blood ...
Bump. A lot of people, including myself, find ourselves complaining about the massive ping spikes since the last patch. This is annoying AF, and in the interest of customer service and game quality, Rito needs to get on that shit.

I am actually having the exact problem, before the patch my ping was like 80-90. After patch my ping is 80-90 but you see it go to 200 for like three or four seconds and this happens continuously throughout the game. Its impossible to play with at this point.
Having the same problem bruhs, before the patch, I was having 70-90 ping, it was enjoyable to kite with as an adc... And after the patch i get 100-120 ping and it's pretty hard to play as vayne, I'm currently holding back in ranked games. Not sure if It's my Wifi (mts) because all my other shaw friends are having great ping below 70, and mts has put me down before when it held all of us at 120 ping... Please help us find a fix thanks much appreciated
The same thing has been happening to me! I'd Start lagging and my ping is 60-90 so my skills will be delayed by 15 seconds... It's annoying me cause I can't participate or even enjoy the game...happened twice. Like a few days ago I was fine even if my ping was 100 but now ping is 60 and my lag is as if the ping was 1200 and it the pop 'attempting to reconnect' pops up like every 15 seconds
I'm having the same issue gents. My ping and frame rate is awesome but i'm lagging throughout all of mid game. It also disconnected me 3 times during games leaving me with a 5 game 20 minute penalty :(..... please do something RIOT!
i have the same problem since patch 5.13 my ping is usually around 20-40, but it goes up 2000-3000 every 15 to 30 seconds since the release of this patch... :( in 5.12 it was working just fine
BUMP.... Same here since 5.13 having crazy ping and lag spikes... RIOT can we get a fix ASAP this is making it impossible to play ranked
Riot better fix this problem, dropped to silver 2 because of their patch fail yet again, but it looks like we are the minority here so riot could care less. So until the next patch

anyone still has this problem? I experience the same issue. the game kinda just goes into LAG mode but my ping doesn't go up, only happened since 5.13
also, i used to be able to observe ranked games, but now it's impossible. Everything just freezes in game, and then starts, and then freezes again...
Using Mac version of game.
This is kinda becoming an issue, my ping goes up to 400 then goes down for a few minutes before going back up again. My character randomly freezes so I wasn't able to move where ever i click. Anyone knows how to fix this issue? Started at 5.13 and still happening at 5.14.
I've been getting these lag spikes for a few weeks now...causing the game to be almost unplayable. I've dropped out of promotions 3 times because of these sudden lags. During the game my champion will freeze, walking in one single direction...not allowing me to change its path or use any abilities. Ally and enemy champions will move around me and can even interact with me, but I will stay frozen for seconds. When my champion is relieved of the lag, the game goes back to normal...no jitters, or teleporting. It's like a sudden Malzahar ultimate out of NOWHERE! ...And I'm stuck hoping the enemy laner doesn't kill me. Very frustrating that I can no longer play ranked. The season is almost over.
Yo have the same lag too but mine start when i enter that game. before the update it was fine i can move well but after the update i was teleporting n moving fast for so reason
every few patches or so lol just becomes hard to play for some people. This patch i have to wait around 10 sec just for the client to process me pressing the friend list. Very random (and obvious) fps drops occur in game and out of game this patch. This is one of those patches that will just be unplayable for me, but usually the next patch works fine after the broken one is real eased so w/e.
same issue I think graphics card may need an update /: very frustrating I just lost like 40lp for this and it worked just before 5.13.
I think I'm experiencing the same, every match today it feels like my champs either seriously lag for a second and it is messing up my aa's or they're just flat out canceling at random points.

i have the same problem but noone on my team other than me gets it... i play from souteast asia on euw btw
Ive been given 300 ping since 5.13 usually around 50-70. all game modes are affected
