Champ select bug

I was in a ranked lobby waiting to pick a champ, the opposing side was picking, one picked Sona the other was spamming between Zed, Yasuo, and one other I can't remember, after the timer came down to zero I heard the signal to pick our champ, but it didn't let. It was as if we were still waiting, my teammate couldn't pick either. Adding on, the other guy was still choosing through those three champs. I lost points (49 to 39) and have to wait over 20 min to play. It would really suck if more people found out about this and started abusing it.
