Massive ping spike increase

I'm not sure if it's my net or the client, but I've noticed a large ping increase when playing. It usually would last for a bit and go back to normal, but my last game I saw spikes to 200 on max 500 apparently. I went into custom mode just to make sure and sure enough it remained the same and rarely dipped below 110. My average is anywhere from 70-85 ms. So to see it spike to such high numbers is not normal. Anyone else been seeing the same thing? I don't think its my graphics card, I doubt it's my wifi, but it could be the latest patch or server. :/
