[CLIENT] Beta client doesn't update the game

If I launch the game using the beta client, the update process doesn't initiate and I can progress to the client as if there is no update. I can even queue up for a game and get the whole way through champion select. Once the game launches a I'm met with a black screen and a notice that I've been disconnected, due to my game version and the server's being different. Launching the old client allows me to update and proceed as normal.
