It doesn't go underground, instead it sits there in place of the typical beanstalk that's left behind

yeah I've had it happen on KR and LAN client. Its wierd.

Never seen it, but it would be cool if I do :D

It's usually in games with Nidalee's. If you notice, it sits there in the same pose as when it gets snared by Nidalee's Hunt passive.

I have seen this a number of times as well.

I think it's hilarious tho. Every time I walk by, I run away and I'm like "oh shit, he's watching"

I've seen it happen in a few games too. I don't recall seeing it when my team was the one to kill the Crab, only when it was the enemy team. I can't say for sure, but it seemed to happen when we did not have vision of the area at the time the crab was killed.
