[Gameplay] Nocturne's Shroud of Darkness (W) VS Darius Decimate (Q)

When Nocturne successfully blocks Darius Q with his W, Darius still heals from it.

Because it doesn't work like spellvamp. Decimate heals if the spell lands. It's the same with Ryze passive, etc.

. . isn't that pretty dumb though? What's being "hit" here? Technically not a champion, because their shield prevents them from being hit.

Because it's considered a self-buff portion of the ability. Hitting the spell affects Darius and the target. The spell shield only blocks the target's effect. Using an ability to break spell shield counts as an assist when the target dies, too. I think that's pretty fair, especially since spell shield grants a buff to whoever blocked the spell. In Nocturne's case, you get massive attack speed steroid. You should have still won the trade.

the darius nerf whiner still continues........can't u just leave it and be happy that he is already nerfed, over nerfed?

I'm pretty sure this is intended. Darius' Q will heal him if it hits an enemy champion. Even if you spell shield the ability, it still hits you, so he will get healed from it.
