Recently I haven't seen the tooltip of jinx Q, Previously there was an icon stating which form her Q was in, Gatling gun and Cannon, to reproduce this problem.
Step 1: Play Jinx, Step 2: Get Q Ability Step3: Either press Q once to change forms or the tooltip of which form she's in doesn't show already.
Not sure if this was intentional, but previously it made Jinx a lot easier to play with the tooltip and I am curious if others have noticed this bug.
Just as an update, this problem still has not been fixed, and actively makes Jinx harder to play, as when you look at her skill, it shows the gun that isn't active. Definitely hope this is fixed as it cannot be intended.
However - a recent patch has changed this:
SPELL ICON Switcheroo!'s spell icon displays the gun Jinx will switch to ⇒ the gun Jinx is currently using
TOGGLE SWIRLS!!! When using Rockets, the ability icon will flash (like Ashe's Q) to show that Jinx is now in "mana spending mode"
