Game Crashing [CRASH]

Since I have a new computer (about a year already) I've had crashes with LoL. It didn't use to be that frequent (once in 3-5 games and after a reboot it would be ok (so 2-3 min time out of the game). Last weeks its getting worse and today I've had 3 crashes in both of the games I played. It's very annoying for me and for the people I play with obviously since I often die after the crash.

What happens varies a bit. Sometimes the screen goes to black and music/sound keeps playing. Sometimes the screen does something odd (sort of weird flicker) with a weird disrupted sound and shows the screen frozen and then goes to black.

Most of the time I can't do anything but press the power button (Alt tab and ctrl-alt-del do nothing).. sometimes (I relate this with the frozen screen but not blacked out yet I think) I can do a quick alt tab and go to windows and then back to the game and play again.. but most of the time I jus have to power down and restart the whole computer.

A few times (months) before I've reinstalled LoL, drivers, etc but it changed nothing. Is there a way to look into this and maybe fix it for me? Let me know if you need more info.

Hey! Found your post trying to google if others had my problem too. I messaged riot after reinstalling windows and all drivers. Unfortunately my error is a bit different, I get the "grey screen of death" or GSOD. A lot of people suggest to first log your video card temperatures and voltages to see if they receive enough power and keep cool. I have an amd card (toxic r9 280x). AMD software is known to cause issues with league of legends. This is the reponse I received from riot, let me know if it helps you, I will try debugging after ranked season is over. I suggest you message riot as well after testing out a custom game that crashes so that you log the error correctly in the r3d log you have to send them. Use technical issues in support ticket!

"First, I noticed that you are using the current AMD beta drivers. Unfortunately, the beta drivers have been known to cause issues with League. Please try rolling back to the latest live version, 15.20.1062.1004: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool

Secondly, the DxDiag isn't reporting all the device drivers correctly. You might try running the System File Checker to make sure you don't have any corrupt operating system files: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833

I see that you're running Curse Voice. This program is known to cause technical issues for League, so I would like for you to disable the program until we've completed our troubleshooting.

I noticed several processes running that could be causing issues for you. To ensure that you do not have any unwanted programs running, follow these steps on this guide to perform a clean boot: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201761974#wq7

Lastly, if the other steps don't work, please try reinstalling League. Make sure LoL is completely uninstalled before proceeding. If you need any help doing so, a guide can be found here: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/202539040"

good luck!

Try turning anti aliasing off in your graphics settings. That's solved the problem for two people I know.
