Game does not load upon leaving champ select

So recently I've been getting a very frequent and persistent bug. I get into champ select, everything goes smoothly, but once the client closes and it's time to start a game... nothing. No logo, no icon in the taskbar... no game. The game doesn't load.

This has happened 3-4 times in the last few days and every time I log out and I turn on full repair. After the repair it works for 2-3 games and then back to the old regime.

The worst part about this is that the game doesn't discriminate between this and regular leaving so now I got punished by leaver buster and I lost my promos 2 days ago. At this point I don't even wanna enter game just to look at my desktop wallpaper.

Do you see the client saying "Game is still in progress"?

If you do, its the same problem I have. This is a temporary fix until something more permanent comes out: Open Task Manager Click the Processes tab Look for something saying "League Of Legends" (Not LeagueClient) Delete it The client now should ask you to "Reconnect" Click it

This may need multiple tries to work

This problem exists since weeks for hundreds if not thousands of players...

How to work with it:

1: Never start Summoners Rift because you will fuck up 9 other guys gameplay experience. 2: Start TFT (normal, not ranked). 3: Try to fix it by: 3.a: closing game 3.b: closing all LoL Tasks via Taskmanager 3.c: restarting game 3.d: still not working? --> Restart PC 3.e: start game and repeat 3.a - 3.c 3.f: still not working? --> close the game and read a book 4. Working? Finish/leave the TFT round and from now on you should be able to play.

Riot needs to get on this, I just got demoted yesterday. I do not understand why it is not receiving more attention.

Same problem as you. Nothing happend and it's fustrating.

Btw i'm playing without sound, i deleted the sound to increase the performances. I reduced the graphics to increase perf and the bug is still here...

I have to restart my computer after champ select in order for it to work...

Love getting in to games 4 minutes after it starts and blowing tp...

Haven't been able to to play ranked in 3 weeks because of this.

I have the same problem. It happens since the 9.14 patch. (approximately for every 4/5 game)

I guess it would be helpful if people would post more information concerning their system. Without that, Riot can't do much.

I am on windows 7 (64 Bit) running the game in borderless window mode

It's an oldish laptop with a Nivida GeForce GT 630M graphic card (Driver version: 23.21.13.9135)

I did no windows updates or graphic driver updates since this problem started to occur.

As others have already mentioned: The process is visible in the process list (via the TaskManager) but no game window/loading window is showing up. The game client doesn't know that something is not working because it keeps showing the 'game still in process message.

Killing the process in the TaskManager and restarting the client is the only workaround for me.

If more people post their stats, perhaps we can pin down the problem.

I have the same issue and it is clear others have it too, I keep on getting remakes
