Ended Gold 4 S8 but earned a silver border

I ended in gold 4 in season 8 way before preseason started, so I'm confused on why I have a silver border instead of a gold border

Riot said it was a known bug. I think its only temporary and you'll get your border soon. I saw it in service status icon when I loaded my game.
