Unresponsive Black Screen After Champion Select

Hey guys, just wanted to run this by the community and those who are more knowledgable than I. Lately, after accepting a found match (PvP, 5v5, Blind Pick, Summoner's Rift) I'm greeted with an unresponsive black screen in place of the champion select screen. This seems to trigger the good 'ole LeaverBuster, which casts me straight down into the depths of the "Low-Priority Queue". I do enjoy playing League, and I'd like to continue to enjoy it. If anyone can shed some light on this situation or has encountered the same issue, I'd appreciate any feedback given. I'm on a 12-inch MacBook air running OS X 10.11.1. My ping generally hovers around 20 or 30 and I've never had any notable issues with lag. Thanks!

I just had this same thing happen to me. Queued up for an aram and was greated by a black screen. I then alt+f4'd hoping it would cause a crash report or something, but alas it just thought I left the game and gave me a timer.

This is so annoying I'm gong through the same situation but no one from riot has gotten back to me.
