Hey guys and gals at Riot: I want to play your game. However, it is not very motivating when I get through champ select and the game crashes and won't let me connect unless I go through an unreasonably long process to get my game working again.

I have been tagged as a leaver three or four times now, despite being Honor 5 and never having intentionally left a game in my life.

Despite the fact that I eventually do reconnect (usually after about ten minutes), it doesn't matter - by then the damage is done. I don't like losing my ARAM rerolls because of this. I don't like inadvertently ruining the game for my teammates because of a bug that I cannot control.

This has been an issue for weeks now. Weeks. What is the timetable for having this issue resolved? A patch from now? Two patches from now?

Same here, this bug triggered me so much I'm just searching for these discussions and commenting and upvoting. Also sending them a bug report every day until they fix it. Rito pls.

(Just going to copy this across all the posts I see relating to the issue, try to gain some insight for a fix.)

The same thing has been happening to me for the past week. The "solution" I found was to use the task manager to close League entirely, then relaunch the game. As soon as I log back in it puts me back into the loading screen.

Solution is in quotations however, because doing this apparently temporarily resets your client, basically forgetting you ever played the game. It reenables newbie tips, walks you through the "new 2019 season", and clears all your rune pages. Leaving the total number of rune pages available, but they no longer exist until you remake them.

There is a 50/50 chance if you log out and log back in that the runes will come back. I have had to remake all 21 of my rune pages on 6 separate occasions this week, while about another 4 times I relogged and they were back.

Not sure if this is much help to you guys, but this is the only way I have found to "fix" the issue. Although it often happens again 2-3 games later.

They'll probably fix it when they run out of skins. In other words, probably never. They have changed their focus from community-centered to money-centered. They spend no time on the forums, they spend all their time playing games, and they haven't made an update to the client for 2 years, (except the stats page, which sucks and is subpar) yet everyone still complains about it because it's WORSE then they client that they removed. The new client doesn't even have everything that the old client had either, and has a lot more bugs

Rito kicks me out of champ select with no reason on a daily basis, this happens for 7 months, lost over 160 LP

But hey at least we get new lux skins
