[Champion Select] User-side timer does not match true champ select timer

I have had this issue numerous times, where I am picking my champion and nothing seems off, and i am running out the timer to see what champ i should pick, and then the game just dodges me saying I didn't pick.

When I see the client, it says I have like eight or more seconds left to pick, but my buddy said that I ran the clock out. This has happened to me numerous times in and out of ranked, causing me to lose time and lp, and i'm worried about leaverbuster penalties

Please consider adding additional checks during champion select, or only allowing the game to kick once it has checked with the client's progress up to a certain threshhold.

Thank you Riot. I know you're working on the new client, but this is still an issue in the meantime.
