Not able to use League Game window

So I was starting up another game for League Ranked after coming back from my last one, just sitting there waiting to get in, and as soon as it comes up, I'm already trying to get started and get moving, but I can't move or press anything at at all in the game. Its stuck with my default desktop mouse cursor on the screen and the League one will not come up, and I cant even press the GUI buttons in the game, I tried leaving and coming back by using End Task on the Task Manager, but when I come back its still doing it, I tried coming back three times but its not working. I'm posting literally after doing it right now, checking for any solutions or if anyone else is having this problem because I'm most likely going to get punished from the game saying I left and quit the game...any help or info is appreciated. Just happened to me, couldn't have happened while I went to play ARAM or something, of course it had to be in Ranked. Running a repair now to see if it fixes anything.

EDIT (FIXED): Was still happening after the repair until I closed both the game and client in task manager, then closed Discord. Maybe the overlay isn't compatible with the new patch or vice versa.

How can you fuck up a game this badly. I can't even adjust my screen settings because it only lets me do it in game and I CAN'T FUCKING CLICK

I just had this happen to me. I popped in and I couldn't move or Type. I know I was probably report for AFK but I couldnt communicate to the players or move. I tried to the steps listed under the keyboard and mouse functions by deleting the .ini file and editing the json but when I went back in I still could not connect.

This also just happened to me. It is unbelievably frustrating.

EDIT: I'd recommend for everyone experiencing these issues to use the support website and submit a ticket. Using the Hextech Repair Tool is also recommended so you can upload other things that can be located from the zip file that the tool creates to your ticket submission.

I had the same thing happen to me on two different days with two different games. I was luckily playing with a friend both times so they were able to explain my issue. I solved it temporarily the first time by uninstalling and reinstalling but obviously the next day it didn't change the problem. I had followed the instructions for the missing cursor and keyboard not responding solutions but they had no effect. Today, I restarted league and ran it as an admin, which seemed to fix the problem when I loaded back into my custom game and was able to leave the game. I started another custom game with the champion and skin I thought was the problem and it worked as well. So I guess opening the client as an admin is the solution to the problem for now at least? I recommend still sending in a ticket so Riot knows and hopefully they will fix it.

Anyone find an official fix for this issue? Just had it happen to me at the start of an ARAM game.

Tried everything except shutting Discord off and going in again. Is that officially the reason?

I had the exact same issue. I restarted my COMPUTER, which ended up fixing it, but entered the game 18 minutes late.

Just when I thought it was over it did it again, frustrating! I feel like it might have something to do if you Alt+Tab out of the loading window, I feel like that is it, not 100% sure but I think that is it! I feel like I'll get punished for sure this time, if not im going to lose all the LP I got back..

I also had this problem just last game, was able to play once I restarted with Discord and my Anti-virus software closed.

IMO, it's probably Discord since it has an in-game UI, probably messing with the latest patch.
