Game unable to connect to server even though nothing is wrong with my internet

This is the second time this has happened today. I get into loading screen for the game but it gives me a message 'Unable to connect to server. Please check your internet connection and try recconnecting' even though my internet is working perfectly fine. I don't get ban timers but it's starting to get anoying because i wait in queue timer for 5-10 mins then go into champ select for about 3-5 mins and this message pops up in time making me wait another 4-5 mins.
