[CLIENT] Unable to Connect to Chat

Until yesterday (7/1) I was able to connect to chat regularly. For some reason I am able to connect to PvP.net but am completely unable to connect to chat. This actually happened to me on PBE, along with disconnects in the middle of a custom game, before it started happening to me on the NA server.

I have done everything suggested by the Troubleshooting Connection Issues page that I am capable of (to my knowledge). For some reason I am able to do everything else but connect to chat. I can make custom games and queue up for every kind of match.

For some reason I'm unable to connect to chat right around the time that the Mystery Champions were being given out. o.o Hopefully this gets resolved soon. Thank you for your time should you be reading this.

EDIT: The issue resolved for me. Thank you Riot for a timely response to the matter. Also huge thanks for Azir. He was actually who I most hoped to get via Mystery Champion, and that's exactly what happened. RNG on my side this time. Cheers.

I'm somewhat having the same problem. Whenever I try to open my client (NA or PBE) it just says "pvp.net patcher kernal is not responding" 90% of the time followed by a message telling me to check my internet connection if I let it sit long enough and when it does work, it just forces me to do a 1 file patch that just fails. Which is also followed by a bugsplat.

I think Riot's servers are just going through some problems at the moment. We're probably better off just waiting it out.
