Alpha strike bugs

Alpha strike currently has 2 bugs that I am aware of.

1: When alpha striking onto a champion with a flash-type ability (i.e. ) the 'flash' will cancel my alpha strike. For example I was playing against a Corky and I cast alpha strike on him knowing he would hop away from me over a wall. The animation for my alpha strike began, but as he hopped away my alpha strike was cancelled and I was left standing in back in the same place as when I first cast the ability. This has happened to me multiple times against various champions.

2: I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended, however I am still taking damage from enemy abilities while in my alpha strike. Example: when fighting against a Graves I cast alpha strike to avoid his ultimate, however I still take damage from it even though my champion isn't visible on the screen.
