Keyboard and Mouse Not Working In-Game (Patch 8.3) [GAMEPLAY]
I made a support ticket last night about this issue, but I cancelled it because I thought I solved the issue. I didn't realize it was a temporary solution. I had to use this solution [3] times now. Unfortunately, I was most likely reported for being AFK whenever this happened.
I loaded up the game to play the Swain rework on the current patch, patch 8.3. Eventually, it was just to play any champion. I get into a game, and I was unable to use my keyboard and mouse. There was no cursor that appeared. I tried another keyboard and mouse and ended with the same result. I repatched and repaired the game using both the client's full repair system and the Hextech Repair Tool. Then, I looked at what the Support team had on this issue through the following link: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201761934-Mouse-and-Keyboard-Issues I tried all the methods in the link and turned off my antivirus program for the moment, but I couldn't escape the issue. Finally, I decided to completely uninstall and reinstall the game. This did lost my team the game with the amount of time it took to redownload, but it fixed the issue. However, this issue has happened [twice] since then.
My friend also experienced this issue after downloading patch 8.3. He went through the same experience that I had with the same results.
The solution of reinstalling the entire game is temporary for an unknown reason. I do have my LoL Log files saved from the last time this happened on hand for anyone support team member that can help with this issue.
My question is, has anyone else experienced this?
