Camille hookshot moves while stunned

I was playing as Poppy, and I dashed Camille into a wall as she was throwing out her hookshot. She moved with my dash, but then jerked to the wall she had targeted with hookshot, before being stunned upon reaching the wall she had targeted with hookshot. I'm not sure why she finished the first half of her ability before being stunned, but it was fairly annoying because she moved out of the q I was following up with.
