[Gameplay] Cassiopeia ult does not follow quick cursor movements - ult goes painfully wrong
Hi Summoners,
there is an issue I found with the last patch. I tried to make it visible trough a Reddit thread. But it didn't get the attention it needed. Only few responses confirming I'm not the only one.
**Basically: **When you use your ult with Cassiopeia it should always ult in the direction where your cursor is. This worked fine until now. Now, when you quickly change directions with the cursor and then press your ult, it does not recognize the current cursor location and the ult fails because it goes in the other direction.
For example: When you're running away from enemies, and want to ult quickly at them suddenly. If you move your mouse quickly back and press Ult, it fails because you're still ulting in the direction you were running away.
So you lose the fight, possibly lose the game if it was an important fight. Plus, your teammates start raging because they think you're one of the biggest noobs and start raging (had it happen to me in a game where we were already losing). It happened to me in every game at least once since the patch.
Information for the Riot Team: This Bug also occurred with the Q from Xerath a few patches ago. Where it didn't recognize the last cursor location while charging and releasing Q.
How to recreate the Bug:
- Get Cassiopeia to level 6 in any game
- Look in one direction, standing still or moving, and right before you ult move your cursor in another direction you're facing
- The ult will still go in the direction you were looking before, not to the direction where the cursor is
Please take a look at this, as it is really painful and demoralizing when you encounter that bug at least once a game, but love the champion.
Tl;dr: when you quickly change directions with the cursor and then press your ult, it does not recognize the current cursor location and the ult fails because it goes in the other direction(the direction you were facing before).
