Newest Patch causing a computer crash?

After updating to the new patch this morning, it stopped on 51 out of 54 MB, completely froze my computer. Alt + F4 didn't work, as neither did Ctrl Alt Del. After a quick restart, league became corrupt, so I'm now reinstalling it. I didn't get any error logs of anything of the sort. Could have just been my computer, but I'd feel a bit more useful if I posted it ^~^

This happens to me every patch for the last 4 or 5 patches, going back to last season.
