after dying my camera is locked

Sometimes when i respawn my camera behaves like it is locked on my character. I do not use the camera lock and think it is related to either holding space when respawning or dying. I have to unlock it by moving my camera with my minimap, pressing the unlock camera key does not appear to do anything. Happens on multiple characters. I could be tied to how close i am to spawn or how long since i respawned, not sure.
