Ranked Inactivity, without actually being inactive

I just got demoted to gold V, I'm not really complaining but for some reason I got demoted after only two loses which confused me. When I went to Leagues to check my LP I noticed I had a notification saying I was demoted to gold V because of inactivity, even though I haven't been inactive at all. Just wondering if anyone else knows what's up with this
