[Gameplay] Fiddlesticks Dark Wind not proccing Spellthief's passive

I have been playing Fiddlesticks support for near the last 80 games in a row. I always start Spellthief and Skill up Dark Wind.

Lets say I rotate early after leashing buff for jungler. I wait in the bush and land Dark Wind on the bot lane. It bounces the full 6 times and but I only get 1 +8 from the item. Is this a bug? I know that Lulu passive and Lulu Q will give multiple procs of the passive if it hits but why wouldn't Dark Wind?

I actually posted this same Bug approximately 20 hours ago. Did not see a response other than my own lol. This also happened to me exactly how you said, i waited to get a proc on the enemy bot lane entering lane from leash and only got 1 proc, and it went on cool down, this happened every time i used it in lane as well, not matter which level of item i had. I also did not kill a minion any of the times.

I just upvoted yours as well. Its annoying because I should have it fully stacked before 10 mins. I hope its not "working as intended"

There is a delay in each spell cast with spell thief's procs. Its to prevent supports like Morgana from just dropping W and getting all spell thief procs at once. The delay is like 1 second or something

no you are mistaken, it puts the spellthief on cooldown as if you killed a minion, not to mention we are not talking about a 1 second cooldown, we are talking about a full cooldown

It doesn't matter if it hits the champion and then 4 minions then the other champion. It still doesn't proc. And Lulu passive gets all 3 on 1 auto.

And morg support can get all 3 right away. It tick's damage every 1 or .5 secs but she gets it then.

How long are you waiting between procs of the item? Are you doing it every 10 seconds?

Go to 2:50 seconds and watch the E cast you do around that point(a few seconds after). You actually get 2 procs. It might just be visual.

Also, why not use practice tools?

The item is working just fine. That 10 second cd you are seeing is the tribute stack generation cd.

I ask because for it to go on a 10 second cool down (not the full cd, by the way) you would either have to have killed 2 minions or there was a 10 second gap between procs the last time you did it. EDIT actually, killing minions now just stops stack GENERATION, not procs, so I think you just don't understand how the item works.

But even still it could be 3 seconds if the bounce hits Champ-Minion-Minion-Minion-Minion-Champ. Still does not work. Even the last few bounces if you were to hit 5 champions should give an additional proc but they do not.

~~Can confirm myself that for some reason Fid E is putting it on a 10 second CD for no reason at all.~~

Edit: I'm going to check it again, need to confirm something else.

Edit2: That 10 sec CD you are seeing is the tribute generation stack cooldown, the item is working just fine.
