Hextech Crafting got Hit by A Wrench
I was unboxing my Hextech Chest when I got an error. Something something hextech got hit by a wrench and that I should relog. I relogged and did not get any rewards but my key was used.

Same thing happened with me yesterday. I was opening a chest and the same message appeared. And i got no loot afterwards. Hope there is some kind of fox for this.
On the positive you likely only lost a champion shard or two.
