Patcher stuck at "calculating differences 1 files scanned"

Basically my patcher is stuck like i said in the title and after about a minute of that it just says "unspecified error. check the logs for more info." i've tried all the fixes i could find. I tried deleting the air client folder fix that i saw on reddit/forums but that didn't work. I tried reinstalling the game and that also didn't work. I sent a ticket to riot and they told me to try a few fixes (updating windows, disabling UAC, running the game as admin, checking hard drive for errors and reinstalling the game as admin) and none of them worked. I've pretty much tried everything i could find or think of and its still not working. If anyone can help i'd really appreciate it. I haven't played league for almost a month cause of this problem.
