screen problems outside of the App

Hello everyone, I uninstalled league a couple months ago for the same reason that is occurring on my laptop now as I try to enter the App (after reinstalling). I click on the league button and all of a sudden my computer completely changes screen size and messes all my screen settings around. It is hard to explain but it makes my screen square instead of the full rectangle and zooms in. I can not even click on the launch button because it is zoomed in on the top left part of the screen and the launch button is not on the screen. I have tried to click the adjust screen button (f4) and it does nothing until I shut down league and all my settings go right back to normal. I have an HP ENVY x360 TouchSmart.
