Azir Auto Attack Bug

Azir's auto attacks are bugged, I can Q over a wall with this solider, then not be able to auto attack, it just starts making me walk towards the soldier, like I'm out of range. I know that there is a range on his auto attacks, but if his Q can make it somewhere, why can't he auto attack at that range? I've have missed out on quite a few kills because this happened.
