[GAMEPLAY] Sterak's Gage Shield Vanishing Immediately

I was playing a normal game as Volibear and got into a bush fight with an enemy Heimerdinger. During this scuffle, the shield for Sterak's Gage activated, but immediately dropped after that. There was no spike damage that I could see consuming the shield; I was taking consistently slow damage from the turrets and Gangplank ult at that point.

I've tried recreating this by using Sterak's Gage in the Practice Tool (tanking tower shots) with Volibear and Cinderhulk+Sterak's Gage, but the shield operated as normal with this attempt.

Could have been GP ult. But I have had this happen to me occasionally

I have 2 clips of this happening aswell. This has been happening since as far as i can remember. The shield is extremely buggy and dissapears instantly. Last patch about a week ago i saw it happening on a Darius. He grew in size and the sound animation popped right before he died, but not that fast that the item would've cancelled due to death, its just not working.

I have also tested this with Gargoyle plate (Boosts health by 100%) and a sterak's shield that gives me about 2.5K HP. This shield almost instantly dissapears.
