My league of Legends won't open on mac.

Please help me this has been happening for so long and I cant fix it. Whenever I try to open league the icon pops ups and says " Another instance of this launcher is running, Would you like to terminate it." Sometimes I open a bunch of the same league file and press yes and it opens "Sometimes." But now no matter what I press and what I do it won't open. Please help. Thanks.

I'm also having problems not in the same area tho, but maybe related. I keep getting Timed out from pvp.net server for brief moments and get stuck in reconnect screen.
