Game Start Bug?

This seems to be an interesting bug, as I was in a lobby with friends, and walked away without them knowing. They started the queue, went through champion select, and got in game without me taking any part in it. I have no idea what happened really, but I had to wait on the sidelines as they played a game, as this bug occurred. Riot Games, please. This is just silly. Many tears!
