Yorick Ult Double Cooldown bug?

I've noticed a few times that Yorick's ult goes on an immediate cooldown after casting, and then the cooldown restarts after the maiden dies, reguardless of the initial cooldown's progress. I know that on Annie, the Tibbers cooldown doesn't follow the same pattern and so I thought this must be a bug of some sort. Anyone got any more info?
