Help! Client not loading........

Essentially every time i get into a match there is about a 2 sec period where i can see my desktop and my client, which says "Game is still in progress" even though i haven't loaded in. But now the game doesn't even load me in and it just sits on that screen. This issue has cost me 2 ranked games as "leaver", how can this be fixed and can i please recover my LP because all this grinding to just lose it to a technical issue would be pretty upsetting.
