Cant use abilitys or B or any hot keys

I have been having this issue lately and its becoming frustrating and it has been happening with more frequency as of late when i log in some games work perefctly fine other I get a bug where i cant use hot keys at all and have to click i know its not my keyboard and mouse as i can type in game and move my cursor. Usually i can quick relog and fix it but now it takes 3-4 relogs and a full task manager shut down to get it to work does any one have an answer for this?

I have an old response from a Riot tech guy back when the help and support forum was a thing. I hope this helps you. It fixed all issues I had and this sounds like the exact same thing.

Your config files might have gone a little screwy somehow, and each time you login the client grabs the screwy files again which overwrites any changes you made. Follow these steps to do a hard manual reset on those files, and let me know if they still won't work correctly.

Log into the game client

Navigate to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config

Delete the file named game.cfg and persistedsettings.json

Go into a practice game and verify that settings have saved properly.

Leave game to sync settings
