Unable to lock in draft pick/ranked after 2 seconds left in 6.6 patch

I just lost my promo for gold due to this bug, where i had over a second left to lock in a champion, which i did twice. It didnt lock in, it simply made the button unclickable and didnt register, ignoring my lock in before the time run out.This is only happening in the 6.6 patch, in each one before that you could lock on 0 seconds left. What the hell, riot?
