Olaf Q Won't Land Close to Me

When I attempt to throw Olaf's axe(via his Q Undertow) right at his feet, or rather close to my champion's character model, he throws it much farther than where I aimed it. Unless there was a change I was not aware of, you used to be able to throw the axe right by his model, there was no set distance it was forced to travel. This happened every time I used the ability. I first noticed the bug on April 17, 2017.

This bug persisted regardless of skin, map, or gamemode. I tested it on Summoner's Rift, Twisted Treeline and Howling Abyss. While I do not own all Olaf skins, using the ones I do own the bug persisted to happen. I used a MacBook Air running the latest Mac OSX operating system at the time it first occurred.
