FPS issues with new update for Pyke

So with the new update I will start the game with about 90-100 FPS (my usual) and then as the game continues it keeps going down till it stops at like 20-40 FPS and just sits in that range. I have seen other people post stuff on the boards about this so I am assuming the issue is going to be addressed if there is an issue. If there isn't an issue and it's just me is there any way I can stop the frames from going down throughout the game?
