Champion Select with new client

I am not excited about the permanent transition to the new client. There are a few reasons for this and my hope is that they will be solved because it makes my climbing in ranked a living nightmare.

1. About 20% of the games I play in the new client end up freezing before the game is loaded. This may be before I pick a champ, or after, doesn't really matter when, but it freezes, and if I have locked in a champ, then I'm SOL to set up masteries and runes. Sometimes I have to dodge because of this bug, which is really infuriating, especially when I see that this client will be full time. What can be done to fix this?

2. The Champion select sounds are overly obnoxious. Is there a way you could add a volume mixer in champ select or a mute button? the volume of the picking and banning makes all other sounds obsolete. Now I think that this is an important feature for people who are using 2 monitors or afk, however, I think there should be means to adjust this problem in the client.

You guys have done a wonderful job of creating a game that everyone grew to love, I just hope that with these updates you will find a way to accommodate everyone as best as you can.
