Cone Skills Firing Backwards after a flash [Gameplay]

As a season three darius main I recently bought the dunkmaster skin to freshen him up, but when I attempted plays involving flash and e they would always cast backwards. I tried multiple times outside of combat to make sure i wasn't insane. I believe kassadins e works in the same manner currently. It seems like if you wait 1.5 seconds after flash is cast, you can accurately hit your cone abilities, beforehand however they will cast in the opposite direction that you fired them in. Help a brotha out
