League freezing longer and longer throughout the game

So when i get into a game, my screen will freeze for around 1 second at the very start when i am in the fountain. Progressively throughout the game, however, my game will begin to freeze more frequently for longer periods of time until the screen is basically frozen for the rest of the game. I can hear the ambient noises in the game and i can move my cursor, but my character and screen is completely frozen and i cannot press any buttons (such as tab to see the leader board ). **When my screen freezes i can still hear my friends in discord **and the only way to exit the game is by pressing ctrl alt del and restarting. I haven't found any solutions online so i decided to do a full repair (which did not work), uninstall and reinstall league (which did not work), and update my graphics driver (which again did not work). Any suggestions on why i am having this problem? Help would be greatly appreciated.
