Accept/Decline circle stays on the screen after clicking accept

While playing ranked today I got a queue pop but when I clicked on accept the accept and decline buttons stayed on my screen after joining the lobby. I could click both buttons but they didn't do anything except make their usual sounds. I could see in the bottom left that my team members had joined the lobby but I was unable to ban anyone or pick a champion to play so I was eventually kicked to lobby. This resulted in me both losing one of my promotional games and getting hit with a leaver penalty.
